Deuteronomy 2:3-5

3 ‘You have circled this mountain long enough. Now turn north, 4 (A)and command the people, saying, “You will pass through the (B)territory of your brothers the sons of Esau who live in Seir; and (C)they will be afraid of you. So be very careful; 5 do not [a]provoke them, for I will not give you any of their land, even as little as a [b]footstep (D)because I have given Mount Seir to Esau as a possession.

3 “You have made your way around this hill country long enough;(A) now turn north. 4 Give the people these orders:(B) ‘You are about to pass through the territory of your relatives the descendants of Esau,(C) who live in Seir.(D) They will be afraid(E) of you, but be very careful. 5 Do not provoke them to war, for I will not give you any of their land, not even enough to put your foot on. I have given Esau the hill country of Seir as his own.(F)
