19 into the land of the Ammonites. But do not attack them, for I will not give you any of their land. I have given it to the descendants of Lot.’
20 “(That area, too, used to be inhabited by the Rephaim, called ‘Zamzummim’ by the Ammonites. 21 They were a large and powerful tribe, as tall as the Anakim; but Jehovah destroyed them as the Ammonites came in, and the Ammonites lived there in their place.

New International Version
19 When you come to the Ammonites,(A) do not harass them or provoke them to war,(B) for I will not give you possession of any land belonging to the Ammonites. I have given it as a possession to the descendants of Lot.(C)”
20 (That too was considered a land of the Rephaites,(D) who used to live there; but the Ammonites called them Zamzummites. 21 They were a people strong and numerous, and as tall as the Anakites.(E) The Lord destroyed them from before the Ammonites, who drove them out and settled in their place.
