13 Then the Lord told us:[a] “Now get ready and cross the Zered Canyon.” So we crossed over the Zered Canyon. 14 The time that we traveled from Kadesh Barnea until we crossed over the Zered Canyon was thirty-eight years, until that whole generation of fighting men were eliminated from the camp, just as the Lord had sworn to them. 15 Yes indeed, the hand of the Lord was against them to destroy them from the camp until they were eliminated.

13 And the Lord said, “Now get up and cross the Zered Valley.(A)” So we crossed the valley.
14 Thirty-eight years(B) passed from the time we left Kadesh Barnea(C) until we crossed the Zered Valley. By then, that entire generation(D) of fighting men had perished from the camp, as the Lord had sworn to them.(E) 15 The Lord’s hand was against them until he had completely eliminated(F) them from the camp.
