Deuteronomy 19:11-13

11 “But suppose someone hates his neighbor, waits in hiding for him, rises up against him, strikes him dead, then flees to one of these cities. 12 Then the elders of his hometown should send and take him from there and hand him over to the avenger of blood, to die. 13 Your eye should not pity him, but you must purge the innocent blood from Israel, so that it may go well with you.

Deuteronomy 19:11-13
New International Version
11 But if out of hate someone lies in wait, assaults and kills a neighbor,(A) and then flees to one of these cities, 12 the killer shall be sent for by the town elders, be brought back from the city, and be handed over to the avenger of blood to die. 13 Show no pity.(B) You must purge from Israel the guilt of shedding innocent blood,(C) so that it may go well with you.

11 But if any man hate his neighbour, and lie in wait for him, and rise up against him, and smite him mortally that he die, and fleeth into one of these cities:
12 Then the elders of his city shall send and fetch him thence, and deliver him into the hand of the avenger of blood, that he may die.
13 Thine eye shall not pity him, but thou shalt put away the guilt of innocent blood from Israel, that it may go well with thee.
