8 (A)you shall not yield to him or listen to him; (B)and your eye shall not pity him, nor shall you spare or conceal him. 9 (C)But you shall surely kill him; (D)your hand shall be first against him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people. 10 So you shall stone him [a]to death because he has sought (E)to seduce you from the Lord your God who brought you out from the land of Egypt, out of the house of [b]slavery.

8 do not yield(A) to them or listen to them. Show them no pity.(B) Do not spare them or shield them. 9 You must certainly put them to death.(C) Your hand(D) must be the first in putting them to death, and then the hands of all the people. 10 Stone them to death, because they tried to turn you away(E) from the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.
