7 There you will eat in the presence of Adonai your God; and you will rejoice over everything you set out to do, you and your households, in which Adonai your God has blessed you. 8 You will not do things the way we do them here today, where everyone does whatever in his own opinion seems right; 9 because you haven’t yet arrived at the rest and inheritance which Adonai your God is giving you.

7 There, in the presence(A) of the Lord your God, you and your families shall eat and shall rejoice(B) in everything you have put your hand to, because the Lord your God has blessed you.
8 You are not to do as we do here today, everyone doing as they see fit,(C) 9 since you have not yet reached the resting place(D) and the inheritance(E) the Lord your God is giving you.
