19 Be careful, also, that you do not neglect the Levite as long as you live in your land.(A)

20 (B)After the Lord, your God, has enlarged your territory, as he promised you,(C) and you think, “I will eat meat,” as it is your desire to eat meat, you may eat it freely; 21 and if the place where the Lord, your God, chooses to put his name is too far, you may slaughter in the manner I have commanded you any of your herd or flock that the Lord has given you, and eat it freely in your own community.

20 When the Lord your God has enlarged your territory(C) as he promised(D) you, and you crave meat(E) and say, “I would like some meat,” then you may eat as much of it as you want. 21 If the place where the Lord your God chooses to put his Name(F) is too far away from you, you may slaughter animals from the herds and flocks the Lord has given you, as I have commanded you, and in your own towns you may eat as much of them as you want.(G)
