Deuteronomy 12:16-18
International Children’s Bible
16 But do not eat the blood. Pour it out on the ground like water. 17 Do not eat in your own towns what belongs to the Lord: one-tenth of your grain, new wine or oil; the first animals born to your herds or flocks; whatever you have promised to give; the special gifts you want to give to the Lord, or any other gifts. 18 Eat these things when you are together with the Lord. Eat them in the place the Lord your God chooses to be worshiped. Everyone must do this: you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, and the Levites from your towns. Rejoice in the Lord’s presence about the things you have worked for.

16 But you must not eat the blood;(A) pour(B) it out on the ground like water.(C) 17 You must not eat in your own towns the tithe(D) of your grain and new wine and olive oil,(E) or the firstborn of your herds and flocks, or whatever you have vowed to give,(F) or your freewill offerings or special gifts.(G) 18 Instead, you are to eat(H) them in the presence of the Lord your God at the place the Lord your God will choose(I)—you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, and the Levites from your towns—and you are to rejoice(J) before the Lord your God in everything you put your hand to.
