11 The land that you are entering to take possession of is a land of hills and valleys that obtains its water from the rain of the skies. 12 It is a land that the Lord, your God, cares for, the Lord, your God, continuously keeps his eyes on it, from the beginning of the year until the end of the year.
13 [a]If you carefully observe the commandments that I give you today, to love the Lord, your God, and to serve him with all your heart and soul,

11 But the land you are crossing the Jordan to take possession of is a land of mountains and valleys(A) that drinks rain from heaven.(B) 12 It is a land the Lord your God cares for; the eyes(C) of the Lord your God are continually on it from the beginning of the year to its end.
13 So if you faithfully obey(D) the commands I am giving you today—to love(E) the Lord your God and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul(F)—
