34 “And the Lord heard your words and was angered, and he swore, 35 (A)‘Not one of these men of this evil generation shall see the good land that I swore to give to your fathers, 36 (B)except Caleb the son of Jephunneh. He shall see it, and to him and to his children I will give the land on which he has trodden, because he has wholly followed the Lord!’

34 When the Lord heard(A) what you said, he was angry(B) and solemnly swore:(C) 35 “No one from this evil generation shall see the good land(D) I swore to give your ancestors, 36 except Caleb(E) son of Jephunneh. He will see it, and I will give him and his descendants the land he set his feet on, because he followed the Lord wholeheartedly.(F)”
