31 You saw what happened in the desert. You saw how the Lord your God carried you like a man carries his child. He brought you safely all the way to this place.’
32 “But you didn’t trust the Lord your God then either. 33 But he was always in front, going ahead to find a place for you to camp. At night, he was in the fire that showed you where to go. And during the day, he was in the cloud.

31 and in the wilderness. There you saw how the Lord your God carried(A) you, as a father carries his son, all the way you went until you reached this place.”(B)
32 In spite of this,(C) you did not trust(D) in the Lord your God, 33 who went ahead of you on your journey, in fire by night and in a cloud by day,(E) to search(F) out places for you to camp and to show you the way you should go.
