I saw the ram pushing westward, northward, and southward, so that no animal could [a]withstand him; nor was there any that could deliver from his hand, (A)but he did according to his will and became great.

And as I was considering, suddenly a male goat came from the west, across the surface of the whole earth, without touching the ground; and the goat had a notable (B)horn between his eyes. Then he came to the ram that had two horns, which I had seen standing beside the river, and ran at him with furious power.

I watched the ram as it charged toward the west and the north and the south. No animal could stand against it, and none could rescue from its power.(A) It did as it pleased(B) and became great.

As I was thinking about this, suddenly a goat with a prominent horn between its eyes came from the west, crossing the whole earth without touching the ground. It came toward the two-horned ram I had seen standing beside the canal and charged at it in great rage.
