Daniel 8:4-6
New American Standard Bible 1995
4 I saw the ram (A)butting westward, northward, and southward, and no other beasts could stand before him nor was there anyone to rescue from his [a]power, but (B)he did as he pleased and magnified himself.
5 While I was observing, behold, a male goat was coming from the west over the surface of the whole earth without touching the ground; and the [b]goat had a (C)conspicuous horn between his eyes. 6 He came up to the ram that had the two horns, which I had seen standing in front of the [c]canal, and rushed at him in his mighty wrath.

New International Version
4 I watched the ram as it charged toward the west and the north and the south. No animal could stand against it, and none could rescue from its power.(A) It did as it pleased(B) and became great.
5 As I was thinking about this, suddenly a goat with a prominent horn between its eyes came from the west, crossing the whole earth without touching the ground. 6 It came toward the two-horned ram I had seen standing beside the canal and charged at it in great rage.
