¹¹ And it even ^(A)magnified itself ^[a]to be equal with the ^[b]Commander of the host; and it removed the ^(B)regular sacrifice from Him, and the place of His sanctuary was thrown down. ¹² And on account of transgression the host will be given over to the horn along with the regular sacrifice; and it will ^(C)throw truth down to the ground and do its will and succeed. ¹³ Then I heard a ^(D)holy one speaking, and another holy one said to that particular one who was speaking, “^(E)How long will the vision about the regular sacrifice apply, ^[c]while the transgression causes desolation, so as to allow both the holy place and the host ^[d]to be ^(F)trampled?”

³⁶ “Then the king will ^(A)do as he pleases, and he will exalt and ^(B)magnify himself above every god and will ^(C)speak ^[a]astonishing things against the ^(D)God of gods; and he will succeed until the ^(E)indignation is finished, for that which is ^(F)decreed will be done.

⁷ And I heard the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, ^[a]as he ^(A)raised his right hand and his left toward heaven, and swore by ^(B)Him who lives forever that it would be for a ^[b](C)time, ^[c]times, and half a ^[d]time; and as soon as ^[e]they complete ^(D)shattering the ^[f]power of the holy people, all these events will be completed.
