¹⁷‘The four great beasts are four kings that will rise from the earth.

¹⁷These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth.

²¹The shaggy goat represents the king of Greece, and the large horn between his eyes represents the first king.^[a]

²¹The shaggy goat is the king of Greece,^(A) and the large horn between its eyes is the first king.^(B)

²¹And the rough goat is the king of Grecia: and the great horn that is between his eyes is the first king.
