10 A stream of fire issued
    and flowed out from his presence.
A thousand thousand served him,
    and ten thousand times ten thousand stood attending him.
The court sat in judgement,
    and the books were opened.

11 I watched then because of the noise of the arrogant words that the horn was speaking. And as I watched, the beast was put to death, and its body destroyed and given over to be burned with fire. 12 As for the rest of the beasts, their dominion was taken away, but their lives were prolonged for a season and a time.

11 “Then I continued to watch because of the boastful words the horn was speaking.(D) I kept looking until the beast was slain and its body destroyed and thrown into the blazing fire.(E) 12 (The other beasts had been stripped of their authority, but were allowed to live for a period of time.)
