33 At the same time my reason returned to me, and for the glory of my kingdom, my majesty and my splendor returned to me. My counselors and nobles sought me out; I was restored to my kingdom and became much greater than before. 34 Now, I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven, all of whose works are right and ways just; and who is able to humble those who walk in pride.

33 Immediately what had been said about Nebuchadnezzar was fulfilled. He was driven away from people and ate grass like the ox. His body was drenched(A) with the dew of heaven until his hair grew like the feathers of an eagle and his nails like the claws of a bird.(B)

34 At the end of that time, I, Nebuchadnezzar, raised my eyes toward heaven, and my sanity(C) was restored. Then I praised the Most High; I honored and glorified him who lives forever.(D)

His dominion is an eternal dominion;
    his kingdom(E) endures from generation to generation.(F)
35 All the peoples of the earth
    are regarded as nothing.(G)
He does as he pleases(H)
    with the powers of heaven
    and the peoples of the earth.
No one can hold back(I) his hand(J)
    or say to him: “What have you done?”(K)
