Daniel 3:28-30

New King James Version

²⁸Nebuchadnezzar spoke, saying, “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, who sent His ^(A)Angel^[a] and delivered His servants who trusted in Him, and they have frustrated the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they should not serve nor worship any god except their own God! ²⁹^(B)Therefore I make a decree that any people, nation, or language which speaks anything amiss against the ^(C)God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego shall be ^(D)cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made an ash heap; ^(E)because there is no other God who can deliver like this.”

³⁰Then the king ^[b]promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego in the province of Babylon.

²⁸Then Nebuchadnezzar said, “Praise be to the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who has sent his angel^(A) and rescued^(B) his servants! They trusted^(C) in him and defied the king’s command and were willing to give up their lives rather than serve or worship any god except their own God.^(D) ²⁹Therefore I decree^(E) that the people of any nation or language who say anything against the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego be cut into pieces and their houses be turned into piles of rubble,^(F) for no other god can save^(G) in this way.”
