28 For thou hast executed true judgments in all the things that thou hast brought upon us, and upon Jerusalem the holy city of our fathers: for according to truth and judgment, thou hast brought all these things upon us for our sins.
29 For we have sinned, and committed iniquity, departing from thee: and we have trespassed in all things:
30 And we have not hearkened to thy commandments, nor have we observed nor done as thou hadst commanded us, that it might go well with us.

28 Then Nebuchadnezzar said, “Praise be to the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who has sent his angel(A) and rescued(B) his servants! They trusted(C) in him and defied the king’s command and were willing to give up their lives rather than serve or worship any god except their own God.(D) 29 Therefore I decree(E) that the people of any nation or language who say anything against the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego be cut into pieces and their houses be turned into piles of rubble,(F) for no other god can save(G) in this way.”
30 Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the province of Babylon.(H)
