15 Now if you are ready at the time you hear the sound of the horn, flute, harp, lyre, and psaltery, in symphony with all kinds of music, and you fall down and worship the image which I have made, (A)good! But if you do not worship, you shall be cast immediately into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. (B)And who is the god who will deliver you from my hands?”

16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, (C)we have no need to answer you in this matter. 17 If that is the case, our (D)God whom we serve is able to (E)deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king.

15 Now when you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipe and all kinds of music, if you are ready to fall down and worship the image I made, very good. But if you do not worship it, you will be thrown immediately into a blazing furnace. Then what god(A) will be able to rescue(B) you from my hand?”

16 Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego(C) replied to him, “King Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. 17 If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver(D) us from it, and he will deliver(E) us[a] from Your Majesty’s hand.
