15 Now if you are ready, (A)at the moment you hear the sound of the horn, flute, [a]lyre, trigon, psaltery and bagpipe and all kinds of music, to fall down and worship the image that I have made, very well. But if you do not worship, you will [b]immediately be (B)cast into the midst of a furnace of blazing fire; and (C)what god is there who can deliver you out of my hands?”

16 (D)Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego replied to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to give you an answer concerning this matter. 17 [c]If it be so, our (E)God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the furnace of blazing fire; [d]and (F)He will deliver us out of your hand, O king.

But if you do not worship it, you will be thrown immediately into a blazing furnace. Then what god(A) will be able to rescue(B) you from my hand?”

16 Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego(C) replied to him, “King Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. 17 If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver(D) us from it, and he will deliver(E) us[a] from Your Majesty’s hand.
