10 You, O king, (A)have made a decree, that every man who (B)hears the sound of the horn, pipe, lyre, trigon, harp, bagpipe, and every kind of music, (C)shall fall down and worship the golden image. 11 And whoever does not fall down and worship (D)shall be cast into a burning fiery furnace. 12 There are certain Jews whom you have (E)appointed over the affairs of (F)the province of Babylon: (G)Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. These men, O king, (H)pay no attention to you; they do not serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up.”

10 Your Majesty has issued a decree(A) that everyone who hears the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipe and all kinds of music must fall down and worship the image of gold,(B) 11 and that whoever does not fall down and worship will be thrown into a blazing furnace. 12 But there are some Jews whom you have set over the affairs of the province of Babylon—Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego(C)—who pay no attention(D) to you, Your Majesty. They neither serve your gods nor worship the image of gold you have set up.”(E)
