Daniel and His Friends Promoted

^46 (A)Then King Nebuchadnezzar fell on his face, prostrate before Daniel, and commanded that they should present an offering ^(B)and incense to him.

⁴⁷ The king answered Daniel, and said, “Truly ^(A)your God is the God of ^(B)gods, the Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, since you could reveal this secret.”

²⁸ Nebuchadnezzar spoke, saying, “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, who sent His ^(A)Angel^[a] and delivered His servants who trusted in Him, and they have frustrated the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they should not serve nor worship any god except their own God!

^29 (A)Therefore I make a decree that any people, nation, or language which speaks anything amiss against the ^(B)God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego shall be ^(C)cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made an ash heap; ^(D)because there is no other God who can deliver like this.”
