²⁷ Daniel answered the king and said, “No wise men, ^(A)enchanters, ^(B)magicians, or ^(C)astrologers can show to the king the mystery that the king has asked,

⁸ So in the morning ^(A)his spirit was troubled, and he sent and called for all the ^(B)magicians of Egypt and all its wise men. Pharaoh told them his dreams, but there was none who could interpret them to Pharaoh.

²⁴ and the thin ears swallowed up the seven good ears. And ^(A)I told it to the magicians, but there was no one who could explain it to me.”

¹¹ Then Pharaoh summoned the wise men and the sorcerers, and they, the ^(A)magicians of Egypt, also ^(B)did the same by their secret arts.

²² But ^(A)the magicians of Egypt did the same by their secret arts. So ^(B)Pharaoh's heart remained hardened, and he would not listen to them, as ^(C)the Lord had said.
