19 Then the mystery was revealed to Daniel in a vision of the night, and Daniel blessed the God of heaven.(A)

20 Daniel said:
“Blessed be the name of God from age to age,
    for wisdom and power are his.(B)
21 He changes times and seasons,
    deposes kings and sets up kings;
he gives wisdom to the wise
    and knowledge to those who have understanding.(C)

New International Version

19 During the night the mystery(A) was revealed to Daniel in a vision.(B) Then Daniel praised the God of heaven(C) 20 and said:

“Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever;(D)
    wisdom and power(E) are his.
21 He changes times and seasons;(F)
    he deposes(G) kings and raises up others.(H)
He gives wisdom(I) to the wise
    and knowledge to the discerning.(J)
