Colossians 3:17-19

¹⁷Everything you say and everything you do should be done for Jesus your Lord. And in all you do, give thanks to God the Father through Jesus.

¹⁸Wives, be willing to serve your husbands. This is the right thing to do in following the Lord.

¹⁹Husbands, love your wives, and be gentle to them.

¹⁸Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands,^(D) as is fitting in the Lord.
