¹⁸Hoy unto you that desire the Yom Hashem! Why do ye seek it? The Yom Hashem is choshech, and not ohr.

¹⁸Woe to you who long
for the day of the Lord!^(A)
Why do you long for the day of the Lord?^(B)
That day will be darkness,^(C) not light.^(D)

¹⁸Woe unto you that desire the day of the Lord! to what end is it for you? the day of the Lord is darkness, and not light.
