Amos 1:8 New English Translation
8 I will remove[a] the ruler[b] from Ashdod,[c]
the one who holds the royal scepter from Ashkelon.[d]
I will strike Ekron[e] with my hand;[f]
the rest of the Philistines will also die.”[g]
The Sovereign Lord has spoken!
