Amos 7:9-11
New English Translation
9 Isaac’s centers of worship[a] will become desolate;
Israel’s holy places will be in ruins.
I will attack Jeroboam’s dynasty with the sword.”[b]
Amos Confronts a Priest
10 Amaziah the priest of Bethel sent this message[c] to King Jeroboam of Israel: “Amos is conspiring against you in the very heart of the kingdom of Israel![d] The land cannot endure all his prophecies.[e] 11 As a matter of fact,[f] Amos is saying this: ‘Jeroboam will die by the sword and Israel will certainly be carried into exile[g] away from its land.’”

New International Version
9 “The high places(A) of Isaac will be destroyed
and the sanctuaries(B) of Israel will be ruined;
with my sword I will rise against the house of Jeroboam.(C)”

10 Then Amaziah the priest of Bethel(D) sent a message to Jeroboam(E) king of Israel: “Amos is raising a conspiracy(F) against you in the very heart of Israel. The land cannot bear all his words.(G) 11 For this is what Amos is saying:
