21 “I hate your show and pretense—your hypocrisy of ‘honoring’ me with your religious feasts and solemn assemblies. 22 I will not accept your burnt offerings and thank offerings. I will not look at your offerings of peace.

New International Version

20 Will not the day of the Lord be darkness,(A) not light—
    pitch-dark, without a ray of brightness?(B)

21 “I hate,(C) I despise your religious festivals;(D)
    your assemblies(E) are a stench to me.
22 Even though you bring me burnt offerings(F) and grain offerings,
    I will not accept them.(G)
Though you bring choice fellowship offerings,
    I will have no regard for them.(H)
