Amos 4:9-11

9 I have smitten you with the east wind and with the caterpillar; your many gardens and your vineyards and your fig trees and your olive trees were devoured by the locust; yet ye have never returned unto me, said the LORD.

10 I have sent among you the pestilence in the way to Egypt; your young men have I slain with the sword, and have taken away your horses; and I have made the stink of your camps to come up unto your nostrils; and ye never returned unto me, said the LORD.

11 I have overthrown some of you as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and ye were as a firebrand plucked out of the fire; and ye never returned unto me, said the LORD.

9 “Many times I struck your gardens and vineyards,
    destroying them with blight and mildew.(A)
Locusts(B) devoured your fig and olive trees,(C)
    yet you have not returned(D) to me,”
declares the Lord.

10 “I sent plagues(E) among you
    as I did to Egypt.(F)
I killed your young men(G) with the sword,
    along with your captured horses.
I filled your nostrils with the stench(H) of your camps,
    yet you have not returned to me,”(I)
declares the Lord.(J)

11 “I overthrew some of you
    as I overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.(K)
You were like a burning stick(L) snatched from the fire,
    yet you have not returned to me,”
declares the Lord.(M)
