Amos 4:9-11

9 (A)“I struck you with blight and mildew;
your many gardens and your vineyards,
your fig trees and your olive trees (B)the locust devoured;
(C)yet you did not return to me,”
declares the Lord.
10 “I sent among you a pestilence (D)after the manner of Egypt;
I killed your young men with the sword,
and (E)carried away your horses,[a]
and (F)I made the stench of your camp go up into your nostrils;
(G)yet you did not return to me,”
declares the Lord.
11 “I overthrew some of you,
(H)as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah,
and you were (I)as a brand[b] plucked out of the burning;
(J)yet you did not return to me,”
declares the Lord.

9 I have smitten you with blasting and mildew: when your gardens and your vineyards and your fig trees and your olive trees increased, the palmerworm devoured them: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the Lord.
10 I have sent among you the pestilence after the manner of Egypt: your young men have I slain with the sword, and have taken away your horses; and I have made the stink of your camps to come up unto your nostrils: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the Lord.
11 I have overthrown some of you, as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and ye were as a firebrand plucked out of the burning: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the Lord.
