²³ And when ^(A)many days had elapsed, ^(B)the Jews plotted together to put him to death,

⁴⁵ But when ^(A)the Jews saw the crowds, they were filled with jealousy and began contradicting the things spoken by Paul, ^[a]blaspheming.

⁵⁰ But ^(A)the Jews incited the ^[a](B)God-fearing women ^(C)of prominence and the leading men of the city, and instigated a persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and drove them out of their ^[b]district.

⁵ And when an attempt was made by both the Gentiles and ^(A)the Jews with their rulers to mistreat and to ^(B)stone them,

⁵ But ^(A)the Jews, becoming jealous, taking along some wicked men from the marketplace, and forming a mob, set the city in an uproar. And attacking the house of ^(B)Jason, they were seeking to bring them out to the assembly.

¹³ But when the Jews of ^(A)Thessalonica found out that the word of God had been proclaimed by Paul in ^(B)Berea also, they came there as well, shaking up and disturbing the crowds.

¹² But while Gallio was ^(A)proconsul of ^(B)Achaia, ^(C)the Jews with one accord rose up against Paul and brought him before ^(D)the judgment seat,

³ And there he spent three months, and when ^(A)a plot was formed against him by the Jews as he was about to set sail for ^(B)Syria, he decided to return through ^(C)Macedonia.
