²⁰ Immediately he began proclaiming Jesus in the synagogues: “He is the Son of God.”^(A)

¹⁹ Some Jews came from Antioch and Iconium, and when they won over the crowds, they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, thinking he was dead.^(A)

²¹ After they had preached the gospel in that town and made many disciples, they returned to Lystra, to Iconium, and to Antioch,^(A)

³ Paul wanted Timothy to go with him; so he took him and circumcised^(A) him because of the Jews who were in those places, since they all knew that his father was a Greek.

² As usual, Paul went into the synagogue, and on three Sabbath days reasoned with them from the Scriptures,^(A)
