24 but Saul got wind of their plan. They were watching the city gates day and night so that they could do away with him. 25 But the disciples took him by night and let him down through the wall, lowering him in a basket.
26 When he got back to Jerusalem he tried to join the disciples, but they were all afraid of him, not believing that he really was a disciple.

New International Version
24 but Saul learned of their plan.(A) Day and night they kept close watch on the city gates in order to kill him. 25 But his followers took him by night and lowered him in a basket through an opening in the wall.(B)
26 When he came to Jerusalem,(C) he tried to join the disciples, but they were all afraid of him, not believing that he really was a disciple.
