Acts 9:24-26
New Living Translation
24 They were watching for him day and night at the city gate so they could murder him, but Saul was told about their plot. 25 So during the night, some of the other believers[a] lowered him in a large basket through an opening in the city wall.
26 When Saul arrived in Jerusalem, he tried to meet with the believers, but they were all afraid of him. They did not believe he had truly become a believer!

New International Version
24 but Saul learned of their plan.(A) Day and night they kept close watch on the city gates in order to kill him. 25 But his followers took him by night and lowered him in a basket through an opening in the wall.(B)
26 When he came to Jerusalem,(C) he tried to join the disciples, but they were all afraid of him, not believing that he really was a disciple.
