Simon the Magician Believes

⁹ But there was a man named Simon, ^(A)who had previously practised magic in the city and amazed the people of Samaria, ^(B)saying that he himself was somebody great.

⁶ And from those ^(A)who seemed to be influential (what they were makes no difference to me; ^(B)God shows no partiality)—those, I say, who seemed influential ^(C)added nothing to me.

³ For ^(A)if anyone thinks he is something, ^(B)when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
