²Godly men buried Stephen and mourned deeply for him.

²²But Saul increased all the more in strength, ^(A)and confounded the Jews who dwelt in Damascus, proving that this Jesus is the Christ.

²²Yet Saul grew more and more powerful and baffled the Jews living in Damascus by proving that Jesus is the Messiah.^(A)
