12 But when they believed Philip preaching good tidings concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. 13 And Simon also himself believed: and being baptized, he continued with Philip; and beholding signs and great [a]miracles wrought, he was amazed.
14 Now when the apostles that were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:

12 But when they believed Philip as he proclaimed the good news of the kingdom of God(A) and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized,(B) both men and women. 13 Simon himself believed and was baptized. And he followed Philip everywhere, astonished by the great signs and miracles(C) he saw.
14 When the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria(D) had accepted the word of God,(E) they sent Peter and John(F) to Samaria.
