7 (A)‘And the nation to whom they will be in bondage I will (B)judge,’ said God, (C)‘and after that they shall come out and serve Me in this place.’ 8 (D)Then He gave him the covenant of circumcision; (E)and so Abraham begot Isaac and circumcised him on the eighth day; (F)and Isaac begot Jacob, and (G)Jacob begot the twelve patriarchs.

7 But I will punish the nation they serve as slaves,’ God said, ‘and afterward they will come out of that country and worship me in this place.’[a](A) 8 Then he gave Abraham the covenant of circumcision.(B) And Abraham became the father of Isaac and circumcised him eight days after his birth.(C) Later Isaac became the father of Jacob,(D) and Jacob became the father of the twelve patriarchs.(E)
