Acts 7:42-44
Amplified Bible
42 But God turned away [from them] and handed them over to serve the [a]host of heaven. As it is written and forever remains written in the book of the prophets, ‘It was not [really] to Me that you offered victims and sacrifices for forty years in the wilderness, was it, O house of Israel?(A) 43 You also took along the tabernacle (portable temple) of Moloch and the star of the god Rompha, the images which you made to worship; and I will remove you beyond Babylon [carrying you away into exile].’(B)
44 “Our fathers had the tabernacle of testimony in the wilderness, just as God directed Moses to make it according to the pattern which he had seen.(C)

42 But God turned away from them(A) and gave them over to the worship of the sun, moon and stars.(B) This agrees with what is written in the book of the prophets:
“‘Did you bring me sacrifices and offerings
forty years in the wilderness, people of Israel?
43 You have taken up the tabernacle of Molek
and the star of your god Rephan,
the idols you made to worship.
Therefore I will send you into exile’[a](C) beyond Babylon.
44 “Our ancestors had the tabernacle of the covenant law(D) with them in the wilderness. It had been made as God directed Moses, according to the pattern he had seen.(E)
