Acts 5:25-27
International Standard Version
25 Then someone came and told them, “Look! The men you put in prison are standing in the Temple and teaching the people!” 26 So the commander of the Temple guards went with his men to bring them back without force, because they were afraid of being stoned to death by the people. 27 When they brought them back, they made them stand before the Council,[a] and the high priest began to question them.

New International Version
25 Then someone came and said, “Look! The men you put in jail are standing in the temple courts teaching the people.” 26 At that, the captain went with his officers and brought the apostles. They did not use force, because they feared that the people(A) would stone them.
27 The apostles were brought in and made to appear before the Sanhedrin(B) to be questioned by the high priest.
