19 But during the night (A)an angel of the Lord opened the gates of the prison, and taking them out he said, 20 “Go, stand and [a]speak to the people in the temple [b](B)the whole message of this Life.” 21 Upon hearing this, they entered into the temple (C)about daybreak and began to teach.

Now when (D)the high priest and his associates came, they called (E)the [c]Council together, even all the Senate of the sons of Israel, and sent orders to the prison house for them to be brought.

21 At daybreak they entered the temple courts, as they had been told, and began to teach the people.

When the high priest and his associates(E) arrived, they called together the Sanhedrin(F)—the full assembly of the elders of Israel—and sent to the jail for the apostles.
