5 And when we had sailed across the sea which is off Cilicia and Pamphylia, we came to Myra, a city of Lycia. 6 And there the centurion found a ship of Alexandria sailing for Italy; and he put us therein. 7 And when we had sailed slowly many days, and were come with difficulty over against Cnidus, the wind not [a]further suffering us, we sailed under the lee of Crete, over against Salmone;

New International Version
5 When we had sailed across the open sea off the coast of Cilicia(A) and Pamphylia,(B) we landed at Myra in Lycia. 6 There the centurion found an Alexandrian ship(C) sailing for Italy(D) and put us on board. 7 We made slow headway for many days and had difficulty arriving off Cnidus. When the wind did not allow us to hold our course,(E) we sailed to the lee of Crete,(F) opposite Salmone.
