33 When these had come to (A)Caesarea and delivered the letter to (B)the governor, they also presented Paul to him. 34 And when he had read it, he asked from what (C)province he was, and when he learned that (D)he was from Cilicia, 35 he said, “I will give you a hearing after your (E)accusers arrive also,” giving orders for him to be (F)kept in Herod’s [a]Praetorium.

33 When the cavalry(A) arrived in Caesarea,(B) they delivered the letter to the governor(C) and handed Paul over to him. 34 The governor read the letter and asked what province he was from. Learning that he was from Cilicia,(D) 35 he said, “I will hear your case when your accusers(E) get here.” Then he ordered that Paul be kept under guard(F) in Herod’s palace.
