Acts 23:28-30
GOD’S WORD Translation
28 I wanted to know what they had against him. So I took him to their Jewish council 29 and found their accusations had to do with disputes about their own laws. He wasn’t accused of anything for which he deserved to die or to be put into prison. 30 Since I was informed that there was a plot against this man, I immediately sent him to you. I have also ordered his accusers to state their case against him in front of you.

New International Version
28 I wanted to know why they were accusing him, so I brought him to their Sanhedrin.(A) 29 I found that the accusation had to do with questions about their law,(B) but there was no charge against him(C) that deserved death or imprisonment. 30 When I was informed(D) of a plot(E) to be carried out against the man, I sent him to you at once. I also ordered his accusers(F) to present to you their case against him.
