²⁹(They had previously seen Trophimus^(A) the Ephesian^(B) in the city with Paul and assumed that Paul had brought him into the temple.)

²⁹(For they had seen before with him in the city Trophimus an Ephesian, whom they supposed that Paul had brought into the temple.)

²⁰Erastus remained at Corinth, and I left ^(A)Trophimus, who was ill, at Miletus.

²⁰Erastus^(A) stayed in Corinth, and I left Trophimus^(B) sick in Miletus.^(C)
