⁴¹ So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and that day there were added about three thousand ^(A)souls.

⁹ receiving as ^(A)the outcome of your faith the salvation of ^[a]your souls.

²² Since you have ^(A)in obedience to the truth ^(B)purified your souls for a love of the brothers ^(C)without hypocrisy, fervently love one another from ^[a]the heart,

²⁵ For you were ^(A)continually straying like sheep, but now you have returned to the ^(B)Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

¹⁹ Therefore, those also who suffer according to ^(A)the will of God must entrust their souls to a faithful Creator in doing good.
