²²He sent two of his helpers,^(A) Timothy^(B) and Erastus,^(C) to Macedonia, while he stayed in the province of Asia^(D) a little longer.

¹⁹But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send ^(A)Timothy to you shortly, that I also may be encouraged when I know your ^[a]state.

¹⁹I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy^(A) to you soon,^(B) that I also may be cheered when I receive news about you.
