3 And because of being the same-trade, he was staying with them and working— for they were tent-makers by trade. 4 And he was reasoning in the synagogue every Sabbath, and persuading Jews and Greeks. 5 But when both Silas and Timothy came[a] down from Macedonia, Paul was occupying-himself with the word[b], solemnly-testifying to the Jews that the Christ is Jesus.

New International Version
3 and because he was a tentmaker as they were, he stayed and worked with them.(A) 4 Every Sabbath(B) he reasoned in the synagogue,(C) trying to persuade Jews and Greeks.
5 When Silas(D) and Timothy(E) came from Macedonia,(F) Paul devoted himself exclusively to preaching, testifying to the Jews that Jesus was the Messiah.(G)
